What is a public meeting?

A public meeting of a Metro board, commission or committee, or an item on its agenda, as the city publishes it in Legistar.

The body named on the record runs the meeting and takes any action on its items.

Items are heard in agenda order. The minutes, published later, record what was moved, seconded and decided.

An item on an agenda is not a decision; it records that the body will consider it.
